SIX new exciting day-courses are available for free to North Lincolnshire Homes tenants and leaseholders to take advantage of in the new year.
All courses include free refreshments and upon completing them the attendees will be presented with a certificate.

- Do you dread having to attend interviews and want to build your confidence?
If you answered yes to any of the above, this workshop is for you!
Basic communications skills
(24 January 2012, 1:00pm until 3:00pm)
- Do you want to improve your communication skills and be more confident with people?
- Perhaps you want to improve your listening skills?
This workshop will provide you with information on how to be more effective at communicating.
Managing money - personal budgeting etc
(14 February 2012, 10:00am until 12:00 noon)
- This workshop will provide practical advice on managing your money, which bills to prioritise and where to get advice and support in managing debt
Customer service
(28 February 2012, 1:00pm until 3:00pm)
- This session will explore and build your skills in provide effective customer service - what it means, how to provide it and what difference it makes?
Basic health and safety around the home
(6 March 2012, 10:00am until 12:00 noon)
- Find out ways to make your home safer for you and your family
Healthy eating
(20 March 2012, 1:00pm until 3:00pm)
- What does healthy eating mean for you and your family? How to plan and prepare good food simply, and within your budget. You might even like to grow some!
