The Single Equality Scheme has been developed to address existing duties and recent legislative changes, which require public organisations to develop equality schemes and action plans to address issues of disability, gender and race.

This schemes makes a corporate commitment to continuing the work that we have already undertaken and to take forward actions that will enable NLH to achieve the aspirations we have set with regards to equality & diversity.
